Holy Metropolis of Singapore

It was founded by an Act of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, at the session of January 9, 2008, by separation from the Holy Metropolis of Hong Kong. It encompasses Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Timor, the Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.

Missionary Work

It includes pastoral visits, catechesis, and the celebration of Holy Services in all the aforementioned areas of West Bengal. Liturgical and spiritual books are translated and printed in all local dialects. Seminars are held for the continuing education of the clergy, and Scripture and Catechetical gatherings are organized for the faithful and catechumens.

with free tuition.

6. Technical School for the training of underprivileged girls.

7. Boarding School and School for blind children.

8. Daily distribution of breakfast to 300 underprivileged children.

9. Distribution of lunch to the elderly, the sick, and the homeless.

10. Distribution of food, clothing, medicine, and school supplies to those in need.
